Drawing on a wealth of knowledge and experience, our staff ensure that every child’s experience at Toybox will be a magical adventure filled with fun and play, whilst also learning through stimulating and challenging activities to build a positive ‘Can Do’ attitude and love of learning.

Many of our 23 staff have been with Toybox for numerous years, and we are proud that staff choose to stay with us. We believe that having the correct mix of younger and older staff is key to providing the highest level of care. Our younger staff are fantastic but the knowledge and experience of our older staff who have seen and dealt successfully with every potential situation time and time again is irreplaceable.

 All of our staff are highly trained, as most have level 3 or level 2  Early years educator training, as well as Sarah and Jo who have  Early years educator degrees. We believe the maturity and experience of our team mean that you can leave your child with us knowing that they are in the safest of hands and receiving the best possible care.  We are also a great advocate for Apprentices who would like to learn. Apprenticeships provide businesses with skilled workers for the future, ensuring employees are equipped with the skills they need to thrive in the company long term. We believe a nursery is only as good as its team. We have a very dedicated team, several of whom have been with us for many years. We are proud of our very low staff turnover – it’s unusual. We continually receive extremely positive feedback from students on work placement and occasional visiting staff.
